During the Year of Rogue Dragons, the Rage came to plague Toril for the first time in over three centuries. All over Faerun, flights gathered to sow destruction and savagery, while the common races cowered in fear. Many heroes were made that year, as they fought valiantly against the mad dragons, but of those many brave men and women, it is the Hand of Valor that proved most important. Many claim that they were chosen by destiny, others that they were simply in the right place at the right time; many more say that the subtle machinery of fate had nothing to do with their ascendance, and that they were simply men of extraordinary ability who chose to risk their lives for the future of Faerun. It is not for us, scholars of the Leaves of Learning, to decide. Rather, it is our purpose simply to make all the relevant information available so that sages may debate the matter in a free exchange.

Therefore, I am pleased to present to you a comprehensive collection of the sources used by the Hand of Valor during their famous quest. Thanks to a generous loan of primary sources from the Headmaster of the Repositorium Arcana, we have been able to gather all the various books, manuscripts, ancient tomes, and various other pieces of arcana that the Hand of Valor used in their quest.

So without further ado, ladies and gentlemen, I present to you Seeds of Prophecy.
