Charlie:
Hello, my name's Charlie Williams and I'm from a small town in
England called Hatfield. It's about 40 kilometres from London,
um, which quite surprisingly is actually quite a beautiful part
of the countryside. Um, at the moment I'm an English language
teacher, which means I travel around the world and I'm currently
living in Australia; however, I don't think I have lost my English
accent and, uh, I feel it's important for me to continue to sound
English, um, as it's part of my culture and my background. Um,
I'm married to a South African woman, who doesn't sound South
African, which is quite interesting…and, um, most people have
trouble identifying her nationality because of it. But she's quite
happy about that.
