Ken: Go ahead?
OK. My name is Ken MacKenzie. Ah, I come from Toronto and, ah, I've
lived a couple of years in Montreal, as well, in Canada. I'mI'm
in Australia now. I'm glad to be here, ah, although, it's getting
colder here and it's getting a lot warmer in Canada, unfortunately.
My timing's a little off, but, um…
Michael: Are
you from the city?
Ken: I am from
the cityfrom North York, which is sort of a suburb of Toronto.
Um, I've, uh, let's see. I'm 23 years old. I graduated from school
last year-ah, from universityin Montreal though.
Michael: Which
one?
Ken: Uniah,
Concordia University.
Michael: OK.
Ken: Um, so
I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts, which [laughing] doesn't count for
a whole heck of a lot, but, um… Yeah, um, I've been travelling for
about five months now and really enjoying myself. Um…
Michael: Great,
um, what sort of accommodation do you live in here in Australia?
Ken: Here I
live in a hostel. I'm looking for an apartment maybe for the First
of June to see if I can sublet from somebody or…or something like
that, something a little morea little bit more permanent 'cause
I'm planning on staying here for a couple of monthsthree of
four months here in Melbourne so it's probably a better set up.
Michael: Great,
thanks.
Ken: No, no
problem.
