Galactic Map
The map above shows the Star Wars galaxy, originally created by George Lucas, but added to by nearly a hundred authors
since then. With every new book, another planet is discovered or mentioned, and new species begin to play a part in
Star Wars tales.
The black lines roughly indicate the divisions between the rims: the outer rim, mid rim, and inner rim. Planets such as
Tatooine, which seems to feature in every Star Wars movie can be seen in the outer rim, nearly into Wild Space. Other more
central planets such as the core world Coruscant are in the inner rim.
There are more planets and systems that could be added, but to make the map readable, I have tried to keep only the most
important planets in the map. Every planet has its own tale - the spies who uncovered the Death Star 2 plans from Bothawui,
the force blanketing species ysalamiri from Myrkr, the first Imperial - New Republic truce held at Bakura etc... they all
have an important part in Star Wars history.
