If I had to choose my favourite of the Star Wars movies, this would probably be it. They are all great, but I feel this has the best combination of each type of action, and all the essential story elements. It really has everything you could want, including one of the best fight scenes ever.

So, what is Episode 5 all about? Here are some key points of the movie:

The rebels move and hide on the ice planet Hoth, but are forced away by the Empire Luke leaves, and goes in search of Yoda on a planet called Dagobah. Han and Leia aboard the Falcon escape for a while, but are tracked by Boba Fett. Darth Vader catches them, thanks partially to Lando Calrissian. He sets a trap for Luke. Luke arrives and confronts Vader, against Yoda's wishes. He loses his hand. Calrissian, a friend of Solo's swaps sides and helps Leia, but Han is now frozen in carbonite. Boba Fett takes the frozen Solo to Jabba the Hutt for the bounty.

It is a dark time for the rebels, but Luke is getting stronger. This incredible cliff hanger sets the scene for a great Episode 6. Here are some of my favourite moments:

• The battle on Hoth, with the arrival of the AT-ATs.
• The Falcon's escape through the Hoth asteroid belt.
• The duel between Luke and Vader in Cloud City.
