| Please take time to take a look at Radcliffe Online's rules and regualtions. Radcliffe Online is all for freedom of expression and free speech, however we do need to enforce some rules. Please note that these rules are IN ADDITION TO the Yahoo groups code of conduct which you agreed to when you joined, and apply to ALL areas of the site including your own member profiles. Serious, or persistent minor, breaches of these rules or the Yahoo Terms of Use, will result in your removal from the list of members. This is an open site (rated "General-suitable for all"), where any member of the public can view the content. |
| Please DO NOT... Use obscene or profane language, nor post images of an obscene or offensive nature (or links to such material), anywhere on the site. Post offensive remarks, which includes racially offensive, whether directed at an individual or group. Post libellous remarks. You may voice a general opinion, but do not make unsubstantiated remarks or accusations against individuals, or organisations. Post copyrighted material, unless you have the permission of the copyright owner. Copyright subsists in the postings on this, and other, web forums. The quoting of short sections of a previous post, for the purposes of identification, should not cause problems, but the re-posting of entire postings, or articles from other sources (without appropriate permission), is a breach of copyright. Post private addresses and/or telephone numbers, including your own. Exchanging of addresses and/or telephone numbers must take place by E-Mail, not via the message boards or Chat Room. Personal or telephone contact with other members is at your own discretion and risk, and Radcliffe Online accepts no responsibility for the consequences to any member, resulting from making such personal contact with another member(s). Views and opinions. Views and opinions expressed on Radcliffe Online relate only to the author and do not necessarily reflect the views or opinions of the managers, or other members. Variations to the Yahoo group and/or these rules. The manager(s) may, at their absolute discretion, and without prior warning or notice, vary the Yahoo Group, or the way it is operated. This variation may involve the restricting of membership (either by refusing to grant membership to, or by withdrawing membership from, any individual(s), or by closing the forum to new applications), adding or removing services, pre-moderating the postings, shutting down the forum, or such other changes as may, from time to time, be deemed necessary or desirable. The manager(s) may, at their absolute discretion, and without prior warning or notice, add to and/or change these rules. If a situation arises, which is not covered by these rules or the Yahoo Terms of Use, the manager(s) will make a decision, based on the circumstances of the case, and these rules may be varied to reflect the decision so reached. It is the responsibility of the individual members, to re-read the SITE RULES, after receiving an Announcement, and BEFORE making any further posts, in order to acquaint themselves with the changes. For the above reason, it is imperative that members maintain a current and active E-Mail address for our Yahoo Group. Chatroom. Radcliffe Online currently has no chatroom feature. If you need to complain about other members. Please use the complaints e-form. CLICK HERE to go there. As you can see, Radcliffe Online hasn't gone to town in making the rules too strict. All we ask for is a little common sense from you and we also would like you to point out infringments of the rules to us via the 'complains' page. Thankyou for your support.
