Video 002 2008 Trams - Radcliffe / Bury border, Hagside level crossing This is a video some 17 years later on filmed on the same line around the Hagside area which is on the border between Radcliffe & Bury. The River Irwell, Hagside level crossing (which is just inside Radcliffe) & "monkey bridge" are shown. This video has been shared with permission from another Youtube user "ROOSTER1067" Thanks a lot mate.
Video 003 2008 Tram - Radcliffe Another video shared by ROOSTER1067, this shows a tram heading towards Radcliffe station. (You can notice there is no fence between the filmer and the tram. The fence was there in 2007. When the track was replaced the contractor destroyed the fence and never replaced it. Metrolink have been told about this by numerous people but choose to do nothing about it.) Again, thanks.
Video 004 Aerial view over Bury / Radcliffe Here is a video taken from aboard an Airbus a320. It is a flight from Leeds / Bradford airport to Heathrow. You might well be asking what this has to do with Radcliffe? Well if you watch carefully you will see at 6 minutes 48 seconds you are 25000 feet above Bury! Stuart from Barnsley who filmed the footage zooms into Bury F.C at 6 minutes 40. From then on you can see industrial units at the top of Dumers Lane, the former Halls factory, Ee's former landfill site. The film then goes on to look across to Radcliffe, then head south west over the m60. A big thanks to Stuart Moss for sharing this video.
