Gohan Close Up
Super Saiyan Gohan Close Up
The Full Action Kits are my personal favorite DBZ
figures. The FAKs are action figure kits, which require assembly.
The figures are easy to assemble as they snap together in the same
fashion as Gundam models. The FAKs are molded in a sturdy plastic.
The figures are well articulated. The FAKS have outfits, which are
constructed of a soft plastic which bends slightly. The plastic
outfits due however restrict most of the figure's leg articulation.
Currently, there are two types of FAKs that I know of.
The original FAKs which were manufactured by Bandai Japan and the
European FAKs which were released by a french company named AB Toys.
Below I have lists of the Japanese and European FAKs.
Below I have lists of the Japanese and European FAKs.
- Japanese Full Action Kits
- #1 Gohan
- #2 Gokou
- #3 Goten & Trunks
- #4 Super Saiyan Gokou 3
- #5 Gotenks
- #6 Gogeta
- European Full Action Kits
- #1 Gogeta
- #2 Super Sayian Gokou 3
- #3 Tapion
- #4 Minoshia (Thanks Lupin III.)
- #5 Veggetto
As you can see Bandai only released 6 figures while AB
toys only released 5 figures for a total of 11. Unfortunately, some
of AB Toys' European releases were just slightly altered Japanese
FAKs. In total there are only 9 different figures between the
Japanese and European releases. This brings us to my main complaint
with the FAKs. WHY DIDN'T BANDAI OR AB TOYS RELEASE MORE
FIGURES IN THE SERIES? The FAK toyline deserved a figure of
Vegeta, Piccolo and other DBZ characters. |
