Services

The services that we give in our Shelters Nacional Network are:
Temporal Shelters:

They are rooms for family and sexual violence victims that want to find a place that guarantees their physic integrity and their mental and physic recovery. People who arrive at this place are people who suffer from chronic malnutrition, psychosis, depression, etc. the most serious cases are taken to different hospitals. The aggressor cannot find the victim in these shelters because once the victim arrives is taken to any of these shelters that is going to provide for what is needed.

Legal consultancy:

The legal part is important in order to have justice and put the aggressors in jail and not let me go free. Through the legal support we can send these aggressors to court and start some food trials, trials against life and health crimes, etc.

Primary health care:

We make different tests to check if the victims’ health is good because they are people who in a 100% live in state of chronic undernourishment, pulmonary diseases, and gastro intestinal diseases as a result of the many years of extreme violence in which they have lived.

Human rights workshops:

Through these workshops we give the participants the knowledge about their constitutional rights and the importance of making stronger:
- Democracy and women leadership
- Peace

House Consultancy:

We not only guide but also make the necessary things in order to help people have their own home free of violence without the presence of the aggressor.

Mental health workshops:

Mental relaxation and recovery is the fundamental step to reach a complete personal development and get over traumas that are the results of the violence that they have lived.

Entertaining workshops for children:

Children find in the shelters a place where to develop their skills, and improve their interpersonal relationships, so that way their emotional and communicative development is guaranteed.

Productive workshops:

The way we survive in the shelters is not only based on the solidarity that international and national organizations give but also on the importance of generating our own resources through the production so that’s why women are trained for the agricultural, artisan, nutritional production, raising, etc.
