Grocery Stores
As students, we suffer from a very limited selection of grocery stores.  Here's a list of some that you might want to try.

Winn Dixie: As the closest grocery store to LSU now that Delchamps closed, it is the highest recommended.  It is pretty clean and has a good selection of food.  Most of the time you can get in and out fast.  I don't know if it's open 24 hours.  If it's not, it's open pretty late.  It is located on the corner of Lee and Burbank.

Albertson's: This store is the second closest.  It is located on Lee right before I-10 on the left.  I am not a big fan, mostly because it is dirty and has higher prices on most stuff than Winn Dixie.

Super Wal-Mart: It is open 24 hours a day and has a large selection of food.  It probably is the cheapest of the three, but is far away.  There is one off I-10 at Seigen and another off I-12 at O'Neal.  The one at Seigen is about  a 15 minute drive from campus.  There's a Sam's located next door, and if you have a membership, it has some great food in bulk quantities.

Pharmacies

You'll probably need to go to the pharmacy before you leave LSU.  There are no pharmacies nearby.  The LSU Student Health Department has a small pharmacy.  The only thing is that it, like the Student Health Center, is only opened from 8-4 on weekdays, and only in the morning on Saturday.  At the intersection of South Acadian and Government there is a Rite Aid, Walgreens, and Eckerds.  Why are they bunched together like this?  I don't know.  Finally, there are pharmacies at Walmart (Perkins and S. Acadian) and Super Walmart (Seigen).

Convenience Stores

There is a Circle K at the corner of Highland and State.  Another one is on Burbank real close to campus.  These are open 24 hours.  There are two one campus, but they aren't open too late.  One is in front of the Pentagon dorms and the other is in the Laville Food Emporium behind Laville.
