What I've been eating


*Amendment*  lately people have been commenting on how and what I was eating these first few months.  In the beginning weeks, I was still very concerned about eating too much fat.  I later learned that we do need fat in our diets, so I started changing the foods I was eating.  So, you might notice that I was using Egg Beaters for breakfast and other low fat products.  I still use the Miracle Whip Light, because I like it.

Week one

Induction : DAY 1  Sept 3

120 oz water
6 oz coffee - black   This will be the hardest part for me, as I love my coffee
Breakfast: 2 eggs with cheese
lunch: approx 5 oz chicken breast with 2 tsp ranch dressing
snack: HB egg
salad: 2c salad w/HB egg, 1/2 oz cheese 1T dressing
dinner: Approx 12 oz round steak
(If I calculated correctly, that should only be about 9 grams of carbs )

I found this really great dip for my steak.  I take 1 T Light Miracle Whip, 1T sour cream, and 1.5t horseradish. (Not the creamy kind.) and just dunk the steak ever so lightly just to get a taste of the dip.  Its really good and barely any carbs. 

Induction Day 2: Sept 4

110 oz water 
4 oz black coffee hard to get used to
09:30 2 eggs w/ bacon
15:00 5 oz round steak, HB egg
17:30 2 c salad w/ 1 T ranch dressing, 1.5 tsp sour cream 5 oz Eye of round steak
20:00 HB egg 2 cashews - shame shame.
approx carbs 8

Induction Day 3:  Sept 5

10am   2 eggs w/ .25 cup 2% cheddar cheese, 2 oz round steak, 1 slice bacon.  >1 gm carb
14:30   8 oz beef stew meat w/ 1T each of Sour Cream and Ranch dip      2 gm carbs
16:00   1 slice of low fat cheese    1 carb
19:00   6 oz Broasted Chicken breast    3 cheese sticks
OPSSS  no salad today.  I was full, and it looks like only about 6-7 grams of carbs. And i decreased my water to roughly 60 - 70 oz of water, I'm not done yet.

I'm thinking that today I didn't get enough calories.  I will have to calculate them later.

Induction Day 4:   Sept 6

11:00

 18:00  I didn't do well calculating my dinner. I had broasted chicken, a breast and a leg, no skin on either.
Oh, One thing... I was making my early lunch/late breakfast and i was reading the salad bag.  It states that 1.5 cups  =  85 grams (weight)   I noticed that 1.5 c salad couldn't fill a rabbit, so i weighed it on a scale.  I had roughly 3 c at 60g.  How am I supposed to figure that one out?  Anyways, it will be listed below:  
(Wow, that works out nice, I should do all my meals in table form)    YIKES!! that's a lot of fat for a salad.  I remember days when I didn't take in that much in a day, much less one meal.  ACK.. its all that cheese.
