I am the type who loves to workout. As long as I can remember, I have done something, with the exceptions of during my pregnancies and when I went back to school.
I was the type who did Step Aerobics 3 days per week and something else the other 3 days, with one day off. But, the thing was, during all those years, my body shape never really changed much.
Last August, I started working out again, more light aerobics for fat burning. (So I thought) After school ended in December, I decided to take that time for me, to get back in shape, along with my diet. Come January, I started more weight lifting, and was doing quite well, but I decided to start meeting with a personal trainer for more tips on how to get a better body, and lose some extra body fat. I had my BF tested at 23.9% at the end of June. I think I was upwards of 40-44% last August when I started Low Carb eating.
Then come mid-June, I heard about Body for Life and figured this could just be the program to get my body in shape, to rid myself of the extra fat I have been unable to do with my previous programs.
Before re-starting the program, and the challenge, I did my measurements, and my weight and BF percentage on my tanita scale. That way I have a starting point, and can see where this program takes me.
I really do enjoy the workouts, not the Aerobics in particular, but the weight training. I really feel that I am accomplishing something and I am finally on my way.
