The front porch extends the entire width of the house. The brick piers, joists, and decking were completely replaced in 1999-2000. The screened-in porch along the east side of the house provides a wonderfully sunny place for breakfast and an even better place to relax on a hot summer evening under the ceiling fan, away from the flies and mosquitoes. There are also two conveniently located electrical outlets. Access to this side porch is through the living room. The back porch provides a sheltered entrance to the mud room. A strategically placed 4 x 4 ceiling joist provides ample support for a future porch swing.
