Yard

The yard contains a number of mature maple, locust, red bud, and holly trees. The holly trees, most likely planted when the house was built, stand nearly 30 feet tall. For the last decade, we've traded a pick-up truck full of holly for a Christmas tree at the local nursery.
The back yard is long, narrow and open. It provides an excellent place to play soccer or throw a football or baseball back and forth. There is a small fenced-in garden that was hastily put together two summers ago and can easily be removed (it only took a day to construct) or expanded. The swingset, trampoline, and playhouse do not convey.
