MacKenzie is starting to like boys and one of her favorite singers is Cristina Aguilera, but she also loves "Big Deal" by LeAnn Rhymes. Her favorite oldie song is "All I Have To Do Is Dream" by the Everly Brothers. Kenzie says her favorite book is the Animal Atlas and her favorite movie of the moment is "My Dog Skip". She also wanted to go see "The Sixth Sense" twice she thought it was so good. Her favorite color is purple.
MacKenzie also loves to come to my house to stay overnight and see my cat, Babydoo. She's in the 4H club and it was through them that last she got the opportunity to go to "Space Camp" last summer. It's a NASA program for children to experience some things like the astronauts. She went on a bus and visited several different sites in various states. Other favorite past-times of hers are board games and card games. She just got back from the "regular" 4H Camp where she got to swim every day in the lake or river, ride horseback, and won the "best attitude" award. She's a keeper, all right!
The latest update on MacKenzie: she started six grade this fall and is doing great in her studies. She finally has a "pet" of her own to keep at her Mom's house: a turtle (red-eared slider) in a small home which she keeps in her bedroom. They're renting their house now, so no furry pets are allowed. Debbie says when they get their own house Kenzie can have a hamster or guinea pig. She does have a dog, Wendy, at her Dad's house where visits as noted above. MacKenzie would like to be an animal behavioralist or perhaps a breeder when she grows up--anything really as long as it involves animals.
