"Blythe"

"She keeps busy as a bee!"
Blythe Margaret is 10 and in the fifth grade.  She's Jacki's daughter and to me she is a lot like Jacki, very sweet and endearing and artistic.  I MAY be prejudiced...She lives with her brother, Hunter, and her mom in a small town in North Carolina, not far from the rest of the family.  She and Hunter stay with Daddy at Nana and Papa's place sometimes, where there are lots of dogs and puppies and cats.

I'm rewriting Blythe's page (after 3 years!) and she would like me to update a few things. Blythe and Hunter got a pc last Christmas and one of her favorite things to do is play with the Deluxe Sims edition she bought a few months ago. She hopes to get an email of her own to email her friends, but her Mom is still "thinking it over". She dances now in competition and goes to lessons two days a week for two hours a day in tap, clogging, lyric ballet and jazz. She's been taking dance lessons for seven years, this begins her eighth year. Her favorite two are lyric ballet and clogging. Her group took high gold last year in clogging and received a first place champion reward and eighth place overall in this, their first year of competition. Blythe loves to swim in their family pool at her Mom's and ride her new Roadmaster 18 speed bike, a birthday gift from her Dad.

This last summer Blythe went to the beach with her Mom, her brother Hunter, her Aunt Debbie, her cousin MacKenzie and MacKenzie's friend, April. While they were there they went to an Italian restaurant and got pizza. Yum yum. Of course, they spent a lot of time on the beach, which Blythe loves better than the pool. They also went to Medievel Times where they have a jousting tournament in the center of a huge tent while everyone gobbles food while watching real horses and men go tearing at each other trying to knock each other off their mounts. She had her last dance competition while they were at the beach as well. They also went to the Grand Prix and rode amusement rides and drove race cars. Another outing was to Ripley's Aquarium where you walk through a glass tunnel under the sharks and then they went to a Japanese restaurant where they cook the food right in front of you and they had to take a bag of chicken tenders for Hunter to eat. :) The Myrtle Beach waterpark was a must to go to and they went on all of the water rides.

Blythe went to Hickory Cove Bible Camp this summer, too. She said they had really good food there. Some of the activities were "Ultimate Chicken" kind of like Ultimate Frisbee only using a rubber chicken. They went canoing, tubing, paddle-boating, swimming in the pool for three hours every day. There was a trading post they could shop in for tee-shirts, candy, necklaces, drinks, sunglasses, little bracelets, etc. She had a really great time.

Blythe's favorite TV show is "Sister, Sister" on the Disney Channel, favorite singing group is a gospel singing group called "Point Of Grace", favorite food is macaroni and cheese, favorite color is orange, and her favorite movie is "The Sound of Music". She's looking forward to going back to school this week and starting fifth grade. Her best friend is a girl named Leah, who is practically like a cousin and was born only 8 days later than Blythe. They have known each other since they were about 1 week old--they just don't remember that far back!
