07.15PM- National Folk Party RAJABANSI LOKA NRUTYA,  Jalpaigudi, West Bengal.

07.50PM- NATIONAL FOLK PARTY- BHANGDA, Kapurtala, The Punjab

  BHANGDA of Punjab has brought the  Top Officials to the stage .

 

08.40PM-Daka- Naren, Bolangir

This is an enchanting ethnic dance of the Kondh tribe. They dance with dhol, nisan, dhap. tasa in the time of their annual buffalo sacrifice for high yield & deep yellow colour of turmeric. They carry swords, bows & arrows addressing the Kondh old lady. 

08.55PM-Chari Nachania- Khatkhatia, Boudh

The concept of the dance goes back to the dance of the heavenly dancers like Rambha, Menaka, Urbasi & Tillotttama during  the marriage of Lord Shiva. The dancers dance in the typical style of "Nachnia".

09.10PM- National Folk Party- CHINCHU JANAPADA NRUTYA- Kakinada- Andhra Pradesh

06.55PM- Sabari Leela- Barangakot, Bargarh

This dance has got a theme of encounter of Sabar & Sabari. This story goes back to Dwapar Yuga, when Sumedha was born in Gopapura & used to sell berries to child Krishna. It is believed that she was an incarnation of the Sabari who fed berries to Ramachandra in Tretaya.

07.35PM- Mahila Karamsani-Sargi Bahal, Bargarh 

Generally, Karamsani dance is performed by male & female folk. Here the ladies  performed it. Most attractive part in this particular dance is the song rendering by two girl children.

08.25PM- Parla Nacha- Nuapada. 

This is a typical marriage dance of Chhatisgarh area where the people have the tradition to dance with the bridegroom, putting him on large flat bamboo basket. Here, in this dance, they carried the bride on that Parla & seven ladies made her swing by singing bridal song.
