Kenny and Megan's Wedding We flew to Utah the weekend before Thanksgiving for my brother's wedding. We did a lot of fun stuff, including Wii. (Just for the record, I beat Dave in boxing, but he was the family skeet shooting champion.) |

My brother Kenny met a cute coworker
from Brick Oven pizza in Provo, Utah. They were both at the holiday
company party, which Megan almost didn't go to, and Kenny almost left,
since neither one of them like crowds. But they found each other and
talked and hit it off. She served a mission in south Salt Lake valley, Kenny in Toronto. They both love board games, and are shy and quiet. She has lots of family in Utah, who are really nice. |

They married in the Bountiful temple on a beautiful warm autumn day. (It was actually cloudy and raining the day we married in August in the same place!)

Here we are. I searched all over Palm Beaches to find a fall formal with "enough fabric". And Dave got a new suit, the first one after his mission.

My grandparents, Ross & Yvonne Bosen of Bountiful, Utah. This is the engineer grandpa whose life history we published in 2007. This grandma is the quiltmaker.

Kenny and Megan wanted chocolate fountains at their Utah reception, so
my mother created the yummiest, prettiest spread of dippable foodstuffs
I'd ever seen.
There was a slide presentation of their pictures and great music. The Pocatello, Idaho reception the next night was ice cream sundaes at Megan's request. Who needs cake... |

We borrowed a car and drove over to Boise, ID to see Dave's brother's
family. Danny was the youngest person ever in Allstate's history to buy
a book of business, around age 27. And recently, he bought a second
business. (The family was more than willing to invest in Danny; he's
been a money-schemer from the beginning, and everyone knew he'd be
successful and rich someday.) Hey, bro, how 'bout a loan? We talked with Danny and Karen for hours, met their friends, ate their food, took their dog for a walk, and got reacquainted with their 2 girls. We had a great time, despite the cold white falling out of the sky the last day. |

Dave's Uncle Gary and Aunt Valerie had us over for dinner that Sunday. They have a fantastic home with the niftiest features, perfect for a 6-kid family. We also had a little piano recital; they have very talented kids, and it was great seeing them in their home in Boise.

After a few more days in Utah, we drove down to Julie & Mikes new home
in Eagle Mountain Utah for Thanksgiving.
Here Grandma Stringham gets her plate of turkey & traditional Robertson food. |

My nephew Henry turned 3, and this reaction is to a big package of Hotwheels cars. Of course, of all the presents, my mother won for best reaction. Why didn't I think of that!?!

Part of my family the day after Thanksgiving.
Dave & I (left) and Kenny & Megan (right). Mom and Dad are center, and my very available, handsome & playful brother Chris (grey shirt), and a son of the ____ family, a Scottish family whose mother Dad converted on his mission 30 years ago, who all come over to visit occasionally. |
