Can a fragile English flower survive the harsh climate of Australia's Cell Block H? Can Lily clear her name? Can she assume the role of Top Dog? Can she work the laundry press? CAN SHE EVER! Lily starred as herself, making her debut on the West End stage, for a twelve week run and then on tour in 1996 & from 10 March until 7 June in 1997. Staged in aid of the Terrence Higgins Trust it was the biggest comedy event of the year focusing exclusively on sex. Lily had a 6 minute slot and graced the stage wearing genuine Versace, £24.99 from East Street market. She discussed what she wouldn't do sexually, well not for less than fifty quid anyway. Also starred Julian Clary, Rhona Cameron, Jo Brand, Eddie Izzard and many more. Video release.

Absolutely Fabulous was the name given to this years carnival. It all started off on Friday 26th August with the opening ceremony at Sackville Park. Sunday started off with a religious service followed by the Picnic In The Park, HGM provided an all day disco featuring DJs from paradise, Strangeways and Flesh. An all star cabaret took to the stage including Lily, Kelly, the cast of Phantom, Yvette and Village Showgirls.

Cabaret conspired to excite and delight. The variety showcase of Fringe acts opened with Oriental drummers. It was then over to Lily as host for the two night event. For the finale she was joined by Bob Downe and they performed their excellent take off of Torvill & Dean.

A musical celebration by Bill Russell in memory of Aids victims in which Lily played the part of Roscoe, the drag queen, prior to the show's West End run. Graham Hoadly and Regina Fong also alternated the part. Regina took the rôle to the Criterion Theatre in 1993. Cast also included Maria Ventura, Jonathan Arun, Jonathan Brent, George Heslin, Len Trusty, Omar Okai, Amanda Mealing, James Lance and Michael Bell.

The shortlist of candidates up for the 1991 Perrier Award for the most outstanding Revue/Cabaret at the Edinburgh Fringe was published on Wednesday 21st August with the winner announced at midnight on Saturday 24th August. Lily was one of the nominated acts but lost out to Frank Skinner. The winner led the London season.

Among the variety acts included in the show is the popular comedy star Dockyard Doris, who starred for a record-breaking 11 years at London's Beefeater nightspot.
