Barbara Winter walks the talk. The author of Making a Living Without a Job, Barbara advises audiences all over the country and all over the world to exploit their entrepreneurial spirit by taking control of their lives by making the things that they love to do into profitable businesses. She works alone, hiring people that she needs for specialized requirements. She feeds her passion for travel by giving seminars and workshops in England and Europe. Yeh founded The Village of
Arts and Humanities in an impoverished area of north Philadelphia where her
efforts to enhance the environment with parks, gardens, art education,
theater, and housing programs has turned a dismal slum into a source of
pride. Her efforts extend to
Nairobi,Kenya, Ecuador and China. The
recipient of numerous grants and awards, she recently received honorary
doctorates from University of Massachusetts, University of the Arts, and
Massachusetts College of Art, and the Brudi Bruner Award for Urban
Excellence. Her vision, which she will share with our listeners, is clear. |
