Davis has written nine books about Texas culture, including Exploration in Texas, Ancient and Otherwise, Texans One and All, and The Texas Rangers. Employed as a Social Science and Humanities Researcher at the Institute of Texan Cultures, he combines his interest in a wide range of subjects with his urge to communicate to enhance our understanding of the diverse elements that make up the Texas culture. Mary Denman journalist, anchor woman, TV host, actress, radio producer, and a million other things is indomitable. A pioneer in television in Corpus Christi, and the first female news anchor in San Antonio, she is currently the host of, Prime Plus, a weekly radio show for and about mature adults. Susan
Dunn teaches French at Williams College. Her study of French resulted in
a book, Sister Revolutions, about
the French and American revolutions, and from that history she moved into
more modern history and a study of leadership. Her recent book, Three
Roosevelts, Patrician Leaders Who Transformed America, which
she coauthored with James MacGregor Burns, also led her to conclusions about
the nature of leadership and commitment that she shares with her students
and our listeners. |
