Hi Joseph,
You might want to check out But it is based upon scriptural deduction. Flesh and blood cannot inherit Gods kingdom, so no one can simply walk in I never said so and this is where we technically differ on the "kingdom". Is the "kingdom"the government, just the 144,000? The concept of those ruled by it? It means different things. For
instance, the kingdom was set up in heaven in 1992, but it's not ruling over the earth right now. When it does begin to rule over the earth during the millennium, it will rule over many imperfect persons who are considered "dead" during
the millennium. Thus they are flesh and blood. Does that mean they have inherited the "kingdom"? No. When that statement about inheriting the kingdom was made, it meant that the ultimate destiny for the Bride Class to be married in
Heaven with Jesus in spiritual bodies was the "kingdom." The "kingdom" has many phases. You must use the correct context to understand the correct meaning. Can you over come this truth taught by Jesus and the Yes I can overcome it. As I noted earlier, there are
phases of this kingdom. Here is my current understanding: Those who are resurrected during the first resurrection appear in the flesh to rule with Jesus for a 1,000 years and to be on the earth for Judgment Day. They are in the flesh.
They are not angels and spirit beings. Then after Judgment Day, they will be granted their heavenly bodies. Where you have gotten things confused is thinking that everybody who is resurrected is raised as in immortal body. But the Bible is quite clear that many who will be resurrected will be then destroyed in Gehenna. Daniel
12:2 describes Judgment Day as follows: "And there will be many of those asleep in the ground of dust who will wake up, these to indefinitelylasting life and those to reproaches and to indefinitely lasting abhorrence." Acts 24:15 says
"there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous." Does this mean that the unrighteous are going to inherit God's kingdom too? Do they put on incorruptible bodies when they are resurrected? Or are they
going to be destroyed in Gehenna as the scriptures say? Matthew 25:46 in speaking of the judgment of the unrighteous and the righteous: "And these will depart into everlasting cutting-off, but the righteous ones into everlasting
life." Even so, those persons will still be on the earth and they will not have the incorruptible spiritual bodies that the 144,000 have. So in that sense, flesh and blood WILL be part of God's kingdom, but they will not technically
"inherit" God's kingdom, that is, become heirs in the kingdom. That is only for the 144,000 who will be given incorruptible bodies at God's chosen time; apparently not until the time they actually are taken to Heaven after Judgment Day.
Thus it is interesting that the glorious description of the 144,000 who make up the temple, is described especially after Revelation 21:2 where it says: "I saw also the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God and
prepared as a bride adored for her husband." Then John is shown "new Jerusalem" in all of its magnificence, with the 12 gates, all bejeweled, etc. This is an extensive description of New Jerusalem. So this is consistent with the
144,000 My only note here is that this is being described, again, in chronological order, AFTER Judgment Day, that is,
after they would have finished their duties on the earth in the flesh. Now exactly how this incorruptibility happens and the spiritual anointing, etc. occurs, I don't know. But one thing is for sure, everybody who is resurrected is
not going to get an incorruptible spirit body which is what you claim, nor is everyone to "inherit" god's kingdom though they will be subjects of it. What you are saying is that EVERYONE who is resurrectd, good and bad, Bride class or
nations will have incorruptible bodies, will no longer be flesh and blood, since in order to be part of the millennium which you superimpose the concept of equallying = "kingdom" onto, they must be spirits. But does that make sense?
After all, Satan is coming back to deceive many and many will rebel then they will get killed. Also the Bible says that there will be children in the new order born to some of these people. Remember, a child will put his hand over the
cobra's den? A young child will lead animals who will do no harm? That's a beautiful millennium picture, but it sounds like procreation to me. Speaking of that, the Bible indicates that in the resurrection those resurrected will not be
able to procreate but will be like the angels, neither male nor female. This is another reason why it is clear that the second resurrection is after the millennium and after everything is finished with Satan. Those resurrected will not
procreate but the righteous will join all the other people on the earth who were deemed righteous. So the bottom line is this: Those who "inherit" god's kingdom are only the 144,000 who become glorious spirit beings after Judgment
Day. Everybody else on the earth will be human and in the flesh. Anyway, that's my current understanding, not saying that it can't be refined. By the way, also Hebrews when talking about those who murmured in the wilderness for 40
years says at verse 3:11 "So I swore in my anger "They shall not enter into my rest." That "rest" is the Grand Sabbath of the millennium, since Jesus is the Lord of the Sabbath. Faithful ones such as Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Daniel and
others would be resurrected during the "last day" which precedes the millennium and become part of the "first resurrection" and rule as princes in the earth. But none of those who murmured in the wilderness would do so. But since the
resurrection is of the righteous and the unrighteous, those even condemned to Gehenna during Jesus' day who rejected him, those from Sodom and Gomorrah, etc. certainly these unrighteous ones will be resurrected as well. But not during
God's "rest" from the wicked and from Satan. But after that grand rest day, after Satan is destroyed, during a time of judgment for all mankind, when Jesus will sit on his glorious throne and separate peoples, one from the other. The
righteous he will put on his right and the unrighteous on his left. Those on his left will be condemned to the place of their father, the Devil; the righteous will go to the trees of life and enjoy life on the earth, Paradise
restored. Now, that doesn't seem to complicated to me. But I know you have different ideas on each topic. For instance, I know that even though the Bible says that there wlil be a resurrection of both the righteous and the
unrigtheous, which means everybody. And even though the Bible says that we all live once and then there is a "judgment." And even though the Bible says that those resurrected would be judged for the things they did during their life, and
somehow you manage to believe that the resurrection will not include everyone and some won't be resurrected, including those who were unfaithful in the wilderness. So if they are not resurrected, they don't "enter into my rest."
Strange to me, every other vile person from Sodom and Gomorrah and the Pharisees from Jesus' day are going to get resurrected, will come back during "Judgment Day" and be condemned, but for some reason those who wandered in the wilderness
won't get resurrected? Doesn't seem too consistent with the overall picture to me, after all, the resurrection are for the righteous and the UNRIGHTEOUS, and the unrighteous are to be I know. It's because you think it is silly for God to resurrect people just to kill them again.
You think that's vindictive? Well, I don't think so. It has a purpose, and most importantly, the BIBLE clearly says the unrighteous would be resurrected to face their judgment. It's not for us to question Jehovah's arrangements. And
that is definitely one of them, to raise both the righteous and the unrighteous and have a judgment. Some will have a resurrection to life...and some a resurrection to everlasting cutting off. I think that's pretty plainly established
in scripture. Perfectly in harmony with Judgment Day following the millennium. Cheers,
with a mortal
body like the one they now have.
apostle Paul? Mortal
beings must put on immortality like the angels as this is the ONLY kind of
body that will exist in this kingdom at that time and like a seed it must die first.
Joseph
That's when they will reach their ultimate spiritual state of immortality in a spiritual body. But they have to have fleshly
bodies, including Jesus Christ, while they are on the earth, which is during the millennium and during Judgment Day which is a period of special judgment AFTER the millennium is over and after Satan is destroyed in Gehenna. It will be a
special time.
now becoming the incredible heavenly beings of incorruption at this time and becoming the glorious temple of god.
killed after their resurrection. Why, even if all
those in the wildereness are already condemned to Gehenna wouldn't they come back with all the others who are already condemned to Gehenna?
