Hi Joseph,
I'm sorry, but the Bible is quite clear that persons will be held accountable for what they say and do during their lives.
Jesus said: "I tell you that every unprofitable saying that men speak, they will render an account
concerning it on JUDGMENT DAY." (Matthew 12:41)
Jesus said: "The queen of the south will be raised up in the judgment with this generation and will condemn it...." (Matthew 12)
other persons are spoken of as being written in the "book of life" who paid attention to Jehovah's laws during their lives:
"Malachi 3:16 says: "At that time those in fear of Jehovah spoke with one another, each one with his companion, and Jehovah kept paying attention and listening. And a book of remembrance began to be written up before him for those in fear of Jehovah and for those thinking upon his name."
So persons can be rewarded for what they did and said during their first life, and they can be condemned for what they did during their first life.
So the JUDGMENT is for what people did during their lives, when they perhaps thought God wasn't looking or keeping notes.
Now that fundmanetal understanding, makes it totally unnecessary for them to be resurrected during the millennium or re-taught anything. They had enough based upon their own consciences and their own actions during their lives not get life, OR to be condmned.
So JUDGMENT DAY is the day when people come back and are judged for the things that they did, good or bad, during their lives.
So it's not going to be a scenario of, "Hey, I know you were an axe murderer and raped and pillaged all during your first life, but all that's forgotten now. The slate has been cleaned. Now you have a second chance, and we're just going to forget all those evil things you did and said, you won't be held accountable for them, even though the Bible says you will. By the way, just between you and me, those poor suckers who thought they had to be good during their life out of fear of God in order to get eternal life missed out on a lot fun pre-life sinning, didn't they? Ha! Ha! Just doesn't pay to be good does it? Ha! Ha! See, you get life just like they do!"
Cheers,
Gary
