the earth, is borrowed from Fundamentalists
who, in their turn, borrowed it from
the Seventh Day Adventists who NEEDED IT
to support the literal visions of
Ellen G. White.

and others have done a magnificent job
showing that the interpretation of a
water canopy surrounding the earth,
is neither biblically necessary
nor plausible.
