Hi Gang,
In my continuing effort promote any idea scoffed at by our board's self-procalimed experts, I thought you might like to consider this ifo below and the site it is from!
Figure 31: The Grand Canyon, awesome and inspiring when viewed
from its rim, is even more so from the air. From above, new
insights become obvious. For example, have you ever wondered how
the Grand Canyon formed? The standard answer for over a century is
that the Colorado River and side streams carved out the Grand
Canyon over millions of years. If you look carefully at the
picture above (top center), you can see four segments of this
river. Compare the relatively thin river with the canyon's vast
expanse. Is it possible for this small amount of water to carve
out such a huge canyonone of the seven wonders of the natural
world? If so, why did it not happen on the dozens of faster and
larger rivers of the earth? After studying far broader issues in
this section, you will see a huge water source and a surprisingly
simple, but complete, explanation for the Grand Canyon's rapid
formation.
You see, all of this so-called evidence that some here say "confirms no great flood happened" is also a theory, just as much as the site I have provided a link to. I (and others) am often derided for my black/white viewpoint but our "experts' will not even admit that greay areas exist in their favorite scientific BELIEFS.
Enjoy!
