Avery had her first sleepover at Peggy's while Craig and I went to the Jimmy Buffett concert at Nissan Pavilion. Besides the heat and humidity, it was a lot of fun! Being on the lawn is a completely different experience than having a seat.
Craig and I both had our first evaluations last week. Craig got a 1+/1+ in speaking and reading while I got a 2+/2+. We have about 6 more weeks until our next evaluation. I hoping to get a 3!
Craig's class just got a new professor this week and he wasted no time in (unintentionally) getting on her bad side. Fortunately, he was able to get some tips from friends and I think things will turn around for him soon.

Ten-month-old Avery is 21.5 lbs and 28 inches tall.
Avery continues her newfound passion for exploring our apartment through crawling. She also enjoys walking with assistance and last night she stood by herself for about 4 seconds. Walking may be just around the corner!
Sydney's been adjusting pretty well to having a mobile fur-pulling Avery. We got her a hedgehog toy a few weeks ago (in remembrance of those Spotsylvanian groundhogs) and she seems to be enjoying it immensely. I've also started running a lot more and I bring Sydney along with me, although she tends to tire out before the end. She loves swimming at the dog park and many people have commented on how she likes to submerge her head, kind of like a submarine.
