April 18th
Started working on the drivers side. Removed wishbones and fitted infill panel and bent up bottom fold of side panel the same as near side.

April 21st
Fitted drivers side panel, clamped rear wing in position and marked holes in tabs on side of rear panel. Removed wing and drilled all the holes to attach the wing.

Completed fitting the drivers side rear wing including wing piping. Removed the self tapers on drivers side panel and replaced with s/steel rivets. Fitted drivers side triangular infill panel.

April 23rd
Fitted nose cone to bonnet, bit of a fiddle to get it to fit properly. Drilled back of bonnet and chassis for it to hinge. Had to cut and file bits off nose cone to get it to fit around the front chassis box sections.

April 24th
Cut dash panel to fit inside bonnet. Marked position of heater contols and cut aperture.

April 26th
Marked positoins of rear fog light switch, instrument illumination and intermittent wipe controls. Cut holes to fit. Planished over curved edge on bottom of dash.

May 5th
Went to Stoneleigh and picked up lots of  parts for my build.

May 6th
Made up brackets and mounted radiator. Fitted fan in front of radiator and utilised fan bracket to mount horn.

May 7th
Removed fan and radiator to paint brackets and cut additional bottom hose to fit. Radiator and fan replaced and top and bottom hoses fitted. Fan and horn wired up.

May 10th
Had to remove fan and radiator again to have access through nose cone to fit and adjust bonnet catch (needed rad in place to see how much room I had to fit the catch). Utilised the sierra bonnet catch complete with release cable fitted under steering column. Made up plate to mount bonnet catch onto. Made up angle to pick up first two bolts on bonnet centre fold, small angle piece cut to pick up on bonnet strengthener previously made. Used sierra rear folding seat U bracket, straightened U bracket and mounted on angle fitted to bonnet. Some small adjustments made to line up U bracket with catch and 'voila' the bonnet shuts with a nice clunk.
