WELCOME to my Yellowstone Page. Can you imgine how the first Native American felt as he (or she) approached this beautiful area several generations ago? It is hard to imagine the feeling that must have come over them as they stood and looked  over the Yellowstone Falls and saw  nature's beauty behold itself. I would like to have stood next to Thomas Moran as he did his paintings  of the Yellowstone area  in 1871. I have been all over the world, but for the money and time, nothing compares with Yellowstone for the vast difference in landscape;  spectacular geyers; and such a variety of animals found anywhere in the Universe.

I have divided this Yellowstone experience into several different sections so that you can see the beauty of the Park as I have  over the years. I have been to Yellowstone many times, starting in 1954. Over the last few years I have traveled to the Park two or three times a year. I hope that the photos can help you feel the magnificence of the wonder  and serene nature that makes Yellowstone what it is. So sit back and enjoy the animals and the  scenery that Yellowstone has to offer. You are welcome to download the photos, just do not use them for gain. Thank you. Lee.

This page is dedicated to my dear late wife, Glenda, who loved Yellowstone as much as I, but passed away of cancer April 14, 1998. May peace be on your mind as you enjoy the Yellowstone experience.

Winter, 1984, Glenda with  ranger and her  driver husband, and John, my cousin. This is Lamar Valley....
In order to see where the animals and other items that are located within my pages, I have included this map. It will make it easy when I say we saw a bear between Tower and Mammoth, you will know the area by using the map. Easy, right?

                                               My Yellowstone

God made Yellowstone just for me, and what a pleasure.
He knew I would love it's everlasting beauty.
The reds, yellows, and a sweet touch of blue is a real treasure.
Then He threw in Heavenly green just for good measure.
That's why I visit, I know it's my duty.

The waters were placed to go their own way,
To dance, shout, and even to scream.
The mud He caused to sputter and spray.
Fountains are having their own special heyday.
All this is mine, yes, part of my dream.

The animals He thought would enhance the whole scene,
Each having a special beauty of it's own.
If you've ever known real beauty, then you know what I mean.
Even in Winter, nature shows that it knows how to glean.
This is the most wonderful place that I have ever seen.

Now I don't want to be greedy, so I guess I can share.
But don't rush, be quiet, respect this old place.
And if you are lucky you may see a wolf or a bear.
Walk softly and don't trample the land--show that you care.
Maybe if you look hard you will see the splendor of God's face,
And enjoy His handiwork, that's all over the place.....
