This shot is of Chuck Heineman mudbogging. He named his mower "HOMER II" after Homer Simpson. His first mudbogger was the original HOMER. This mudbogger is a late model MTD. This lawnmower is launched by a 16-horsepower Briggs & Stratton. Chuck has been working on a new mower. He won't tell us if it is an overhauled HOMER II or a different mower. He wants the element of surprise on race day!! He has a new name for this mower regardless.

This shot is of Chuck doing a wheelie. Chuck ended up taking home the Season Championship for mudbogging for 1997. He took home almost all the trophies for the monthly awards, too!! HOMER II was kicking butt this year! Chuck started mudbogging in 1996 and was also the mechanic on Jed Combs' mower "MOLE MAN" for the last couple of years (and Jed came in 1st Place in 1996 and in 1997 came in 2nd).

Chuck's mower, "HOMER II", may have had a different look this season, but it is running as strong as last year. HOMER II is just one of Chuck's mowers he's running this season in the pit. Chuck finished 5th on this mower at the first mudbog for the 1998 season on May 9th. He went out-of-bounds a few times or he would have finished better.

Here is a picture of Chuck with his newest project, "PIT BULL". This one wasn't running as well as Chuck had hoped, but he was backordered on some parts and had to make do. He still managed to pull off 3rd Place for the first mudbog for the 1998 season on May 9th on this mower.

Lets see how Chuck has done over the last couple of years.....
