June/July 2003 Cross-Cultural Solutions Ghana Volunteer Program
During the summer of 2003 I volunteered with Cross-Cultural Solutions, an NGO that sends volunteers to the West African country of Ghana to provide service to the people in several towns in the Volta Region. Volunteers are allowed plenty of free time during the weekends to do some traveling within the country, whether it�s independently or with a group. Ghana has so many national parks, reserves, and attractions that it was impossible to see everything in the 6 weeks I was there. However, I was completely satisfied with what I did visit and hope that any future travelers to Ghana have a chance to see them too. Take a look at the trips and excursion page for more information.
