Buswell
Born and raised in the wonderful Swindon, BUSWELL has been writing tunes since the tender age of 16. Having taken a small detour to Hollywood to look at putting his tunes into movies, he got caught up in some bizarre adventures which left him getting engaged to a stripper, having all his possessions burned, spending 3 days in a Californian jail, and becoming a genuine fugitive of the Orange County PD. All in the space of 6 months. He has recently set up Stainmonkey Records to release forthcoming stuff and sound has been described as a mixed up mess of 80 kids TV shows, Morrissey Heartache, Hip-hop, Prog, Classical, 60's Soul, House, and anything else Buswell can fumble into his own unique style.

Reviews:

from Brainblister magazine of live performance
"...this was hardly some idiot with no ideas bumbling around onstage revelling in daftness. He knows he's got songs, but rather than push on through another gig performing them straight he went for a new angle. Experimentation. Without it, we'd probably all still be listening to Gregorian chanting. Besides, even if the whole thing had died on it's arse it would've been redeemed by the appearance of the Signor Rossi theme 'Viva Happiness' at the end, the greatest song ever written."

from Spitting Glass Stars magazine of the album Proudness
"...there are some perfect pop songs here - I imagine big companies and Top Of The Pops would beckon in a few years....an open attempt at honesty which you rarely get....and it works because there’s obviously a lot of talent and hard work involved. I think it’s very brave and very impressive and you should definitely get hold of a copy."
