PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS

KVDA offers short, mid and long-term projects around Kenya. The location of the projects change every year depending on the communities necessities, but are always held in the most marginal regions of the country.
Work is mainly done in the areas of education, health and construction, and both the international and local volunteers have to live and work with and within the communities so that they can understand them better.

The volunteers have to work together with the locals in order reach a specific goal. Ex: the construction of a hospital, the building of a school. After the volunteers leave, the community must be able to finish the task they started together.
