KVDA looks for people above the age of 16 who love social work, and who can acquire a volunteer commitment with the association. KVDA also looks for volunteers who are able to communicate themselves and to live in the community.

As KVDA does not have enough financial resources to pay for the volunteers expenses, the volunteers who want to work with the association, must pay for expenses. This will include all of what they need during the work camp, transport, food and accommodation.

But the most important requirement to become a KVDA volunteer is to have the willing and disponibility to do so. “Volunteer work, specially social work, has to come from the deepest of you heart”, says one of the KVDA members, and he is right. Volunteers must work because they love what they are doing and not because they want to gain some money. They must have a true compromise and desire of helping the less fortunate.
