The poems found in this section celebrate the
excellence of God the Father and the Lord Jesus, his work of
salvation, the benefits and several more. I am more particularly
given to the love of God as was decisively expressed by the
suffering and subsequent death of his Son on the
cross.
I
especially love to extol the power of the sacrifice and its
efficacy with respect to forgiveness, fellowship, grace, and
mercy. I have been and still am, with all downright truthfulness
and no pretensions to humility, an over pampered beneficiary of
the grace that His sacrifice spawned, and continually I give Him
thanks because I cannot even imagine myself with any hope without
Him. God's
faithfulness is also another perfection of the Divine that I
celebrate a lot. This together with His absolute goodness have
been my unfailing trust for over a decade now, especially
through the many setbacks, disappointments, and disillusionment
of recent years. And, sincerely, they have proved to be
dependable navigational guides in this world of relativeness and
transience. I
