Introduction
I
am Bolu short for Boluwade, a Yoruba name meaning
"Arrive with the Lord." A very unique
name indeed! So unique that I dare proudly say
that it is borne by only me. Mind you, there
abound Bolu's as short for different fairly common (no
slight intended) Yoruba names such as Boluke, Boluwatife, and Moboluwaduro. There however exists
only one Boluwade. You may prove me wrong. My middle name is
Paul for those more convenient with it, I am no less proud
to be addressed so. And my surname is Kujero. Very
unusual names you say? No, unique!
As
regards my physical features, I weigh over 80kg
and am exactly 6ft 41/2" tall, that is about
1.95metres. This, in a country such as mine, is
tall, I mean taa...ll -- "Dogo" (Hausa).
I however see it differently. I consider my height
and related features just right. As a matter of
fact, I consider them as the standard or ideal
features. Why? Well, for one, my feet are exactly
12inches long which is one "foot" and
again, my lower arm is exactly one cubit, a
standard of measurement in ancient times based on
a perceived ideal lower arm length. In complexion
I am neither dark nor light, and I cannot claim to
be fair. You may judge yourself from my
photos (not available yet).
I
am, by the grace of God, an "untribalized"
Yoruba man from the great nation of Nigeria in West
Africa. Nigeria is proudly the greatest black
nation and by present divine working a waking
world power. I consider my nationality most
intelligent of God and not tradable, the setbacks notwithstanding. I could never have been any
more fortunate and no one could be better
fortunate. I am proud to be a Nigerian and I don't
hide it. If I had another incarnation, and my
choice counts, I'd choose Nigeria again. No sweet
talk sincerely.
I
hail from Epe in Lagos the popular commercial
capital of Nigeria where I presently reside with a
wonderful couple and their two lovely kids Ayomide and Damilola. Lagos is
a wonderful city
full of sights, sounds and people. I hope to feature articles on
it and probably even devote a section of the site to it.
I
am a young man with great hopes, dreams and
aspirations for tomorrow, who has had a fair share
of life's setbacks but is still fighting on. I am
presently studying to become Microsoft Certified
and at the same time learning to become a
programmer. I see no limit.
I
love acting, singing and dancing. I also write and
compose songs and poems. Some of my poetic works are featured on this site for your delight.
Most
important of all that you should know about me is
that I am born again, a joyful child of the Most
High. This is my defining identity from my most
important and life-changing experience. An
experience that is total and entire,
revolutionalizing my personality, thinking, and
manner of life. You cannot sincerely know me
except within the fabric of living Christianity. I
chose it, I love it, I live it. The power of the
change is so deep that it's as if it produced
everything about me from conception including my
name, skin color, height, etc. That were I
not to be born again I would not be bearing the
name Bolu even though I bore it for 17 long years
before I came to know the Lord Jesus. So if you
are looking for a living proof of the power of
salvation through Christ then look no further.
