As often as I look back on my life, with specific
reference to the volte-face change in tastes, desires, outlook,
goals, etc., that took place in my life years ago immediately
after I surrendered my life to Christ, and the momentum with
which I moved in the new life, I get persuaded the more of my
inability and insufficiency in achieving such a feat when, most especially, among many other
things, I did not plan for such a change, I mean not to such
detail and spread at least, and even much less with such
rapidity. The most accurate explanation for the change is
what I term Christliving. By Christliving
I do not mean living like Christ but rather having Christ living
both in you and through you, this is the essence of
Christianity.
Christianity is not just one or another religion among many or a
set of religious standards or codes to be practiced or adhered
to for divine approval. Rather it is the outflow or outshowing
of the life of Christ from one's heart through one's physical
living. The outshowing being not for divine approval or
acceptance but the inevitable and untamable witness of a changed
and transformed inner life. Any and every thing otherwise is
either morality or legalism, or every thing but true Christianity. The
issues discussed under this sub-section are the fundamental
things, set in order, that I believe are necessary to
Christliving. My invitation goes out to every one to come and
experience the transforming power of the living Christ.
