BOSHEK Species: Human Born: Unknown Birthplace: Unknown Homeworld: Tatooine Affiliation: None Weapon: Blaster pistol Vehicle: Cargo freighter Infinity Debut: A New Hope A spacer who liked to brag about his efforts - be they real or not - BoShek was on Tatooine when Ben Kenobi and Luke Skywalker were looking for passage to the Alderaan system, where he referred Kenobi to Chewbacca. As well as piloting ships, BoShek was also a starship technician, as well as a smuggler. He ran illegal ships across the galaxy as well as cargo. He claimed to have beaten Han Solo's record in the Kessel Run, but no one really knows if he did. After narrowly escaping Star Destroyers aove Tatooine looking for R2-D2 and C-3PO, BoShek landed his starship, Infinity - which the Dim-U monks he was working for had let him pilot - in the Dune Sea. At some point he established a secret outlaw tech lab in Mos Eisley; the reason why he was there when Ben Kenobi arrived in town with Luke. At the time, BoShek was without a ship of his own, so he referred Ben to Chewbacca, after he asked about passage to Alderaan. BoShek had to later evade Imperial persuit himself, as the orbiting Star Destroyers had tracked him after his landing on Tatooine. He posed as a street priest preaching about the Force to avoid capture, and it is believed he began helping the Rebellion soon after. |
BoShek BoShek was referred to as 'The Spacer' before being given a name in the Star Wars card game |
