I must say that I agree with The New York Times in saying that this is "The best work Jim Carrey has ever done!" Not even in The Truman Show were Jim Carrey's acting abilities this high. I was greatly impressed with, not only Mr. Carrey's skill as an actor, but also every aspect of this film. The intriguing storyline, that at first glance may seem to be just that, is carried out with a constant level of greatness. The levels of comedy are high, but not in such a way that it's hokey slapstick. The dramatic elements are heartwrenching, to say the least. The plot twists are genuinely remarkable. This whole film is genuinely remarkable.
Rated R for language and some drug and sexual content.
