SPIDER-MAN 2

2004 ***** 128 mins.

Well, it seems as though Sam Raimi has changed the rules of Hollywood. It seems as though a sequel can actually surpass the original.

This second installment in the Spider-man motion picture series adds even more depth, emotion, and action to our beloved superhero. I will admit that this film had me on the edge of my seat the whole time, even when no action was taking place. Even in the dramatic parts, the story was so engaging, so intriguing, so heart-felt, and so gripping that I could not let go. I could feel the adrenaline pumping through my veins through the whole two hours of this film.

I think Joel Seigel said it all on Good Morning, America. He gave Spider-man 2 and "A" and said that it was "the best superhero movie I've ever seen." I would have to agree. This film dares to do things that Superman or Batman would never dream of doing. I don't really want to give away anything because that may take away the fun of watching the actual film. Do yourself a favour and do not miss this film. Get ready for an action-packed superhero epic that never loses touch with its inner, human emotions.
