Michael Mann does it again in this action film that transcends the boundaries of what an action film usually is.

Jamie Foxx plays Max, a cab driver who, one fateful night, picks up Vincent (Tom Cruise), a hit man who has been hired to make five hits in one night. Vincent uses Max to get him to his destinations. The growing bond between Vincent and Max is very entertaining, especially since Max does not want to give in to what Vincent is trying to do. Tom Cruise gives an absolutely remarkable performance, possibly his best performance to date. This film holds you on the edge of your seat, and it constantly surprises you.
