Community Out-reach :
Kota Eye Hospital & Research Foundation conducts a lot of Community Outreach activities,
through its sister concern "KOTA EYE RESEARCH CENTRE SOCIETY", which is an NGO.
The evidence of this fact is that the 30% of the total Free Cataract Operations being conducted
in Kota District are performed by the Society.
The Donations made to the Society are exempted from Income Tax under section 80G.
The main community outreach activities conducted by Kota Eye Hospital are: -
1) Free Cataract Operation Camps (with IOL implant).
2) Mobile Eye Care Unit.
3) Special facility for Poor Rural Masses for Cataract.
4) School Screening Camps.
