Public Relations :

Kota Eye Hospital makes its maximum efforts to have and maintain good public relations. Follwing activities are being practised to maintain the same :

1. Patient Counselling :
Patients, who are adviced for operation, are counselled about the need of operation, nature of operation, and procedure & charges of operation. All the doubts of the patients and his/her relatives regarding the surgery and post-operative visual recovery are well cleared in advance to make them comfortable. All these informations help the patient and his/her relatives to decide whether to go for an operation or not and what will be the suitable time for operation.

2. Patient / Visitors Suggestion System :
Suggestion of the patients/visitors to the hospital are invited regarding the services, facilities and care given by the hospital to them. For this purpose patients suggestion/complaint registers and suggestion boxes are kept both in O.P.D. and I.P.D. sections. Wherever possible, suggestions given are implemented to improve the services.

3. Community Participation Enhancement :
Adequate efforts are made to ensure maximum community participation in the Out-reach Programmes being conducted by the hospital like Free Eye Camps, Mobile Eye Care Services and School Screening Camps. Kota Eye Hospital believes in the fact that "Community Out-reach Programmes can be made successful only through local support and assistance". Local NGO's are encouraged and appreciateced to participate in these programmes.
