Mobile Eye Care Unit :

The main purpose of establishing Kota Eye Hospital is to provide the latest and sophisticated Eye Care Services in the Hadoti region. In view of providing these services to the remote villages of Hadoti region and nearby districts, the hospital has taken a step further and started its own "MOBILE EYE CARE UNIT", so that the poor villagers who are unable to reach the base hospital get the primary eye care at their door steps.

The Mobile Eye Care Unit consists of 4 members - Optometrist, Optician, Paramedical and Driver. The Unit is equipped with Autorefractometer, Retinoscope and other advanced equipments, which helps in primary eye care & identification and referral of suspected cases to the base hospital. The patients referred to the base hospital are given a rebate of 10% in Operation Charges. The unit also provides the facility of refraction and optical correction at the minimum registration fees.
