About the Poetry

All poetry on this page was written in 2003. The poetry I've been writing this year is all a little different than the stuff I've written in the past. I'm trying to branch out in my subject material, and I've put more thought into my poems, rather than just blindly writing {though I still do that often}. There's more love-related poetry, and a lot of society-ranting poetry ... it's some good shit. If you don't read anything else, read BOX! I love that one : ) Also, I've began writing a little prose ... it's not that good, but it's coming along well. Italicized poems are new.

For those of you visiting this site that know me, especially in real life: Please, don't ask who or what any of these is written about. If you think you know, you might be right, but just don't ask, because I'm not going to say. Please, read everything with an open mind. I write what I feel in the moment I feel it, and my feelings fluxuate often. If you see something that surprises you, just remember that no one is always as they seem. There is a lot more to me than I let everyone see, and my poetry is part of me that I've kept secret for a long time. I've chosen to share it with you and whoever else because I want people to see the real me.
