About the Poetry

All poetry on this page was written in 2001. During 2001, I battled with depression, cutting, and many other things. Poetry was my outlet. Because of what I went through during this year, a lot of these poems are graphic, so I've marked them. If you don't want to read anything dealing with blood or self-injury or death, don't click on those.

If you think you know, you might be right, but just don't ask, because I'm not going to say. Please, read everything with an open mind. I write what I feel in the moment I feel it, and my feelings fluxuate often. If you see something that surprises you, just remember that no one is always as they seem. There is a lot more to me than I let everyone see, and my poetry is part of me that I've kept secret for a long time. I've chosen to share it with you and whoever else because I want people to see the real me.
