Reformed Learning
You spoke of things I never knew, You spoke of thieves and lies. You told me everything that you Had learned of in your life. As knowledge broke its way through me, A sadness filled my heart, For I knew now That I really knew nothing, And the thought tore me apart. How can we be so ignorant? How can we be so blind? Must we all hide ourselves From what's going on? Save our precious eyes From being burned by the blood Shed by society's own hands? The torture conveyed by out lips? I know now that I shall never let The ignorance of society Turn me forever blind And never let me see.
