| Alfred is then faced with Suzuki (disguised as an old man known as Onji). Alfred summons his Spirit Sword and charges for the old man. The old man does a movement of his hands and suddenly encloses Alfred into a Spiritual ball. Alfred tries to break free but is unsuccessful. In one wave of his hand, the old man transports Alfred out of the fighting grounds. The old man then taunts the other team. He says that if Vincent were to challenge him and win, he would reveal secrets to improving the Black Dragon Spirit technique. If Dennis were to challenge him, he would give the potion that would enable him to return to his Youko form. He had not hoped to fight Jeremiah, of which he did. |

| Suzuki was expecting a weak and old Jeremiah. He first shows off his powers (as an old man). Jeremiah quickly engages in combat and beats Suzuki silly. Suzuki then transforms into a "clown." He says that he chose the image of an old man because he did not know of anyone handsome enough to imitate, so being an old man, no one would laugh at him. He uses his Magical Rainbow attack on Jeremiah who quicky evades it easily. Jeremiah goes in for the final punch and finishes off Suzuki with a "hundred-punch-attack" technique that quickly turns Suzuki's face from that of a clown to that of a beat-up man. The match is over and Jeremiah wins. The Unga-Tongi team loses and Eugene's team advances to the next level.

| After the event, Karaso (Karasu) meets Dennis in the hall, stating that one of their teammates will die. Dennis is intimidated by Karaso's swiftness and agility, and went to the forest to train himself. Vincent also goes to the woods to master the Black Dragon Spirit technique. Alfred does the same and tries to master his Sword attack. Jeremiah goes to the woods to meet Toguro Ototo. Here, Jeremaih's relation to Toguro is revealed. They were partners before and were known as the strongest fighters 50 years ago. They were also the champions of the previous Ankoku Bujutsukai tournament. But despite their winning, Toguro wanted to be even stronger and more powerful. So soon he and Jeremiah parted ways. Toguro sold his soul to the king of darkness to be given strenght and power beyond the human's limits. This makes Toguro a monster. |

| Toguro and Jeremiah then engaged in a violent battle. Both still had different point of views after 50 years of not seeing each other. They both gave their best shot. But because Jeremiah already gave her powers to Eugene, she had no chance of defeating Toguro. Jeremiah was killed after a stunning blow between her remaining Spirt Wave and Toguro's 80% Energy punch. Eugene saw the final blow with his own eyes. Eugene, in a rage, attacked Taguro. Taguro manages to knock Eugene out but was very impressed by a Eugene's punch. He becomes excited as he may finally meet someone on whom he could use 100% of his power. Eugene promises to avenge Jeremiah's death. |

| While Jeremiah and Toguro were fighting, The 3 remaining members of the Toguro team fought the 5 Rangers of the Netherworld. Karaso challenged the Green Ranger, which he destroyed by simply touching the Ranger's arms. Bui challenges the Yellow Ranger, which he used his big, big, big, big, big axe to slash his opponent. Toguro Ani challenges the Pink, Blue, and Red Ranger all at once, saying he will finish them in one blow. The three rangers try to attack Toguro Ani, but he lets out numerous spikes out from his body to destroy the three rangers. The match is over and the Toguro team wins.

The final battle
The first match was between Dennis and Karaso. Dennis uses the Waltz Petal Flower Formation technique to harm Karaso, but Karaso destroys them with his invisible bombs. Dennis tries to stall for some time so he could change himself into a youko. When Karaso dives in for a kill, Karaso ignites a bomb and creates a big explosion. Karaso notices that Dennis injured him with a rose on his arm, but this does not bother him. When the smoke settles, Dennis is now a youko. Dennis summons his Demonic plants to try to destroy Karaso, but Karaso successfuly destroys all of them. However, there was one plant left and it ate Karaso.

Thinking the match was over, Dennis turns his back. But instantaneously, Karaso destroys the plant. He comes to the ground without his mask on. The Toguro brothers tell Mr. Valdez to stand back, as Karaso is going to use his strongest power. Karaso tells Dennis that his mask was an inhibitor to prevent him from using too much power.

Whenever his mask was taken off, Karaso could absorb all the energy around him to become one heck-of-an explosive. His black hair turns gold and prepares to finish off Dennis. Despite in his Youko form, Dennis has an even harder time now. Karaso vanishes and pulls a hidden explosive attack on Dennis. This blow turns Dennis back into a human. Dennis tries to gather all his strength and concentrate it into his rose weapon. Unfortunately, his rose explodes because he did not have much energy left. Karaso, feeling confident he will win, tells Dennis to plead for mercy so his death may be quick and painless. Dennis, not to be outdone, charges for Karaso. They engage in the traditional martial arts combat, and Dennis pushes back Karaso with a double handed push. Karaso says Dennis is good, but he must now end the match. Karaso summons an underground force to chain Dennis to the ground, and then he calls all his Netherworld bombs to destroy Dennis. Dennis falls to ground, and kneels, wounded and all. When Karaso calls in for the final blow, Dennis uses all his remaining strength to call out the Blood-sucking plant (Kyu-Ketsu-Shokubutsu). Karaso is surprised and is killed. Dennis tells Karaso that during their fight, he had already implanted a seed on Karaso's chest. He says that even in his human form he could still use his demonic plants. The match is over and Karaso dies. Unfortunately, Karaso is declared the winner because Dennis was pinned to the ground for 10 seconds, and on the 11th second, it was when Karaso died.

The second match was between Bui and Vincent. Vincent uses his Black Dragon Spirit Power, much powerful this time. Bui thought he could use a technique against Vincent. A technique which would turn the power against it's master. Bui manages to pull the technique and the dragon suddenly eats Vincent and Vincent disappears. Bui thought he had won. Suddenly, Vincent gets back in the ring with the dragon in him. Bui is in shock. He knows that he no longer has a chance against Vincent now. And then, after some more punches and attacks, Bui was defeated. Bui told Vincent why he joined the tournament and how he met Taguro afterwards, so Vincent didn't kill him. Vincent ended up sleeping to regain his strength after using his technique. He slept for six hours.

The third match was between Toguro Ani and Alfred. It was in this match that Alfred discovered that Jeremiah was already dead. He used the sword handle that was given by Suzuki. Because of Alfred's anger, he used techniques which were unknown to him. It took a while before he defeated Toguro. He used his sword to defeat him with a different mode of power. Toguro was crushed by Alfred's sword.

The fourth and final match was between Eugene and Taguro Ototo. Before Eugene faced Toguro, Toguro Ani jumped out from the ring and into the sky. He laughed and stated that when he journeyed to the Netherworld, he exchanged his soul for everlasting life. He said that he could not be killed, no matter what pain he took. Toguro Ani said that now, he and his brother will finish Eugene off. Unfortunately for him, Toguro Ototo had other plans. He kicked Ani out of the stadium stating for him to get out off his way. Ani's body was torn inside out after Ototo kicked him, and he was nowhere to be seen. The match started and Eugene and Toguro gave it their all. Eugene and Toguro seemed to toy with each other around. Eugene used his Rei Gun on Toguro who takes the blast and is not affected at all. Seeing this, Eugene breaks the Magical Chain that Jeremiah placed on him to harness his powers. When Eugene breaks free, a Spiritual pheonix appears and enters Eugene's body.

Toguro is impressed by Eugene and they once again engage in a fight. Eugene this time has the upper hand. He beats Toguro silly and Toguro seems to be in a coma. Eugene backs off and Toguro gets up. He says he is done fooling with Eugene. He gathers all his strength and power and changes from a human into a monster! He says this is the form he takes when he uses 100% of his powers. Toguro now seems invincible because all of Eugene's punches and attacks did not bother him. Toguro realizes that Eugene was not using all his powers and forces him to do so. Eugene refuses, and Toguro decides to let Eugene bring it out by hurting his friends. He first absorbs all the souls of the weak audience. Pu makes a force field to protect Jenny, Suzzie, Charlene, and Mikaela. All of the other audience' souls went into Toguro's side chambers. Eugene is enraged but still does not use his powers. He lunges at Toguro who just punches him out of the way. Toguro then decides to hurt Jenny, but Eugene gets in his way. Jeremiah enters Pu's body and flies to Toguro. She says that to bring out Eugene's full capabilities would require Toguro killing one of his close friends. Toguro smiles and challenges Alfred. Alfred attacks but Toguro kills him first. Eugene is shocked by what he saw, and this is when he starts using his full powers. Eugene fills the stadium with spirirt light energy, and he calls on all the dead souls to help him defeat Toguro. Toguro is impressed and prepares to attack Eugene. But before he could even move, Eugene is behind Toguro holding his hand. Eugene says that Toguro must pay for his sins, and he must now die. Toguro sees that Eugene has the upper hand, so he goes into an even higher mode, by using 120% of his energy. Eugene calls on all his powers and uses the Spirit Wave technique (Rei-Kou-Hadou-Ken), he molds the power into one energy ball and fires it at Toguro. Toguro charges for the energy ball and holds it off with one hand first, then two hands. Eugene's energy is quickly drained and he passes out. Toguro also manages to stop the energy ball, and also passes out. Toguro then thanks Eugene for he helped him achieve his goal: to use all his powers in combat. Toguro always wanted to face an opponent stronger than him, and now, Eugene helped him fulfill that. Toguro collapsed and died because of his loss of power. Eugene stands up and is declared the winner.

Mr. Valdez (Sakyou) was surprised because he never thought he'd loose. He just laughs and blows the stadium off with a bomb he had implanted. Mr. Valdez dies, but Eugene and the gang manages to escape.

And then, Jeremiah and Toguro meet again in the Spirit World. It was also mentioned in this part why Taguro went to the dark side : It was because of his friends' death in front of him. This was done by a monster named Kairen. Toguro blamed himself for not rescuing them . Starting then, he trained himself to be stronger. He and Jeremiah joined the black martial arts tournament before to defeat Kairen. And even when they defeated Kairen and became the champion, Toguro was yet not satisfied. He wanted to become even stronger and become immortal. Toguro decided to go to a place even worse than the Netherworld. Toguro and Jeremiah talked but still, they had different points of views in life.

| Eugene and his team were about to leave the island, but they stopped over to pray for Jeremiah's soul. When they left his grave, Jeremiah called out to them, and they all hugged each other. After that, they mounted a boat and were headed for shore...
