King's Mead reports are published annually and present the results of the recording activies for that year. The 2002 report is restricted to bird records, although subsequent reports have been expanded to include records of dragonflies and butterflies and surveys of other taxonomic groups.
Management of the reserve is in accordance with a Management Plan, which is periodically updated. It is hoped that this biological records database will be used to influence updates of the Management Plan and to allow the effectiveness of the management regime to be monitored.
The reports are stored as WORD files and may take a few minutes to load. Providing the report as a WORD file has the advantage that it allows you to print a copy or save onto your own computer.
