Thrid round of the King Challenge moved to Yarrambat Park in Melbournes outer suburbs. In warm conditions the players teed off on the Yarrambat course. The greens had just been renovated resembling corrugated iron, putting would be a lottery!. Mike and Paul had local knowledge at the 'Bat with both of them making reasonable starts. AB also made some progress with two pars on the front nine however the spoon beckoned. Leader Rohan wasnt enjoying the rugged Yarrambat Layoout with Bondy also struggling.

The back nine saw plentty of movement on the leaderboard. Andrew Millar returned to form with 5 pars and moved to the top of the leaderboard, Bondie dropped off the pace, while AB struggled over the closing 5 holes, the engraver went to work on the spoon !! Steve did not like the crap greens and his putter didnt either, too many putts just missed. Rohan moved back into contention with a strong back nine picking up 4 pars and a birdie. Simon had a poor back nine dropping too many shots over the tough finish. Paul was back in form picking up another birdie, Mike also picked up a birdie as he moved up the leaderboard.. With 5 shots seperating the top five it was anyones game as the Challenge moved to Kingston Links for the final round
