King Challenge has seen many memorable rounds of golf, who can forget the
opening blitz by Steve Da Costa in the final round of the 1998 Challenge
on the Gold Coast, the heartache of Mike Hausers collapse at Royal Canberra,
the wizardry of Bondies putter, Simons attempt to steal victory at The
Pines and the inaugural victory to Mike at Coolum. In years to come
more stories of victory and sorrow will be etched into the pockets of the
purple jacket in the bid to win the King Challenge.
